| Huaraz and the Cordillera Blanca are a paradise for those who love adventure, trekking, rafting, and mountaineering. Located in the Central Andes, it boasts some of the highest and most beautiful mountains in this part of the world. Huascarán National Park is sometimes the only destination visited by many adventure lovers during their stay in South America. With a population of 80,000, Huaraz, the capital of Ancash, is the starting point of the adventure that awaits you: amazing landscapes, the clear waters of the Santa river, the famous Callejón de Huaylas, the Chavin de Huantar ruins, llama treks through magical lakes about 4,000 meters above sea level, ice climbing, and the most difficult glaciers to escalate. |
