Day 1 / Lima
Transfer to your hotel in Lima.
Day 2 / Lima – Juliaca – Puno
Transfer to Lima airport and flight to Juliaca city, on arrival private transport to the city of Puno and overnight there. The rest of the day is free. (B)
Day 3 / Titicaca Lake
This excursion begins at 7:30 am with transfer from your hotel to the port. There, you will have 10 min. to do any last minute shopping, and then a boat ride of three hours will take us the unique Taquile Island. There a long path gradually ascending will take us to the village (50 min. hike approx) to visit the communal cooperative. Lunch at one of the local restaurants. The views are magnificent. Then, after lunch we will walk for 30 min. aprox to the boat to continue to the Amantani Island where we overnight with a local family that will provide us with food and shelter. Optional activities for the afternoon; hike to the highest point of the island to watch the sunset or just interact with the locals to the night. (B, L, D)
Day 4 / Titicaca Lake – Puno
Breakfast and departure to Uros Island. After 3 hours of navigation we will arrive to Uros floating island. We’ll see the houses and the islands. Sailing on traditional reed boats can be arranged. Return to Puno. Arrival in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel. (B)
Day 5 / Puno – Cusco
Incredible scenery on the road to Cusco. This scenery bus and some stops on the way will show you the real face of the Peruvian Andes. Arrival to Cusco in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel. (B, L)
Day 6 / Cusco – Pisac – Urubamba - Ollantaytambo
In the morning private tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we visit downtown Pisac and then, free time to shop in the famous handicraft market. Lunch included on the way from Pisac to Urubamba in Tunupa restaurant (novo-andina cuisine). Visit to artist Pablo Seminario's house and the Ollantaytambo complex. Overnight in Ollantaytambo. (B, L)
Day 7 / Ollantaytambo – Machu Picchu – Cusco
After breakfast train to Aguas Calientes, at arrival private tour to Machu Picchu Historical and Natural Sanctuary and then free time to enjoy the complex on your own. In the afternoon we will return to Aguas Calientes and take the train to Ollantaytambo, from there bus to our hotel in Cusco. Night free. (B)
Day 8 / Cusco
City tour, includes visit to Qenco, Sacsayhuaman, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay complexes, the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha and the Cathedral in Cusco. Night free. (B)
Day 9 / Cusco – Lima
Transfer to Cusco airport, flight back to Lima. End of our services. (B)
